From 28 April - 1 May 2022 to took place in Bremen, Germany, the trade fair jazzahead! 2022. At the jazzahead! the international professional world meets, musicians, labels and publicists, bookers and country representatives present themselves. JazzDayGermany e.V. was there for the first time.
We are proud to announce that we have started a cooperation with the stage and foundation JazzState from Warsaw, represented and organized by Ms. Karolina Szewc. JazzState is first of all a space open for musical dialogue - which inspires, encourages experimentation and brings together artists from different musical genres.
The prestigious Dutch music prize Edison is one of the oldest in the world. It has been awarded since 1960 for "recordings of exceptional quality." We are happy to announce that in 2021 two artists we presented at JazzDayGermany received this award.
14,500 visitors celebrated the resurrection of festival culture and the 30th anniversary of JazzBaltica in Timmendorfer Strand from June 24 to 27. A total of 37 concerts, talks and sessions met with great interest and also attracted many passers-by spontaneously to the festival site.

The jazzahead! digital 2021 presents 32 showcasing acts in three categories: German Jazz Expo, Europen Jazz Meeting and Overseas Night. Yesterday, February 11, 2021, the first part was released. We like it very much!
On Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, the founding members of JazzDayGermany met in Kassel. As a result, a unique association has emerged in Germany, which not only supports cultural activities, but also connects musicians from all over the world. The work of JazzDayGermany e.V. is based on the promotion of active musicians who perform jazz and contemporary music.
